The newly christened business services sector is one of the largest export sectors for the province, according to the provincial government.
It generates close to $1 billion in export revenue per year, while employing 18,000 New Brunswickers.
Contact NB President Rob Campbell adds there are 2,000 available right now in the sector, ranging from customer service, to sales, to management training.
Campbell says these jobs could go anywhere, but they stay in the province because of the quality of the workforce, and the service provided.
The government maintains a bilingual workforce and telecomms infrastructure contribute to the staying power of the industry in New Brunswick.
