100 Women Prepare To Make Another Donation

A group of charitable women in the Saint John region is preparing to make another donation Tuesday.

100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John will hold its latest quarterly meeting virtually at 5:30 p.m.

They will hear presentations from three local charitable organizations, and then vote on which one to donate to.

Each woman who attends the meeting writes a cheque for $100 to the winning charity. At just over 270 members, the group expects to make a donation of more than $25,000.

The local chapter has donated more than $856,000 to local charities since its inception in 2013.

Members will also hear a presentation from the Outflow Men’s Shelter, which received a $27,300 donation in September.
