Child pornography charges have now been laid in an investigation dating back to 2023.
A 33-year-old Minto man appeared in court on January 9 and is now charged with possession of child pornography.
He was arrested in May last year after officers searched a home and seized several electronic devices.
An investigation was launched after police received information from RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre in September 2023.
The New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit includes members from the Saint John Police Force and the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force.
The man will appear in court again on February 25.
