A tentative agreement has been reached with the province’s court stenographers.
CUPE Local 1840 has been without a contract for almost three years.
“These employees serve an important role in our justice system, and we look forward to ratification in the coming weeks, ” said Finance and Treasury Board Minister René Legacy.
Details of the agreement will not be released until the deal is ratified.
