Warrant issued after man fails to return to Saint John facility

An arrest warrant has been issued for an inmate who failed to return to the Hart House Community Residential Facility in Saint John.

Jason Pitre is a third-time federal offender currently serving a four-year sentence for Armed Robbery and Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery.

A warrant was issued for Pitre on Monday for breaching the conditions of his statutory release.

Pitre is described as 5’9”, 230 lbs, bald, and with blue eyes.

Police are warning the public not to approach the suspect. Anyone who sees Pitre or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Saint John Police at 1-506-648-3333.
