Investigation continues into stabbing in Saint John

The Saint John Police Major Crime Unit continues to investigate a stabbing in Saint John.

But they now say it was an isolated incident, and the suspect and victim are known to each other.

On August 19, a 42-year-old man was left with serious injuries and in critical condition after he was stabbed in the Douglas Avenue and Clarendon Street area.

Police appealed to witnesses at the time or anyone who had dashcam footage of the incident.

There’s no word on whether anyone has been arrested.
