Francophone Excellence in Education awards announced

The Francophone sector of schools is recognizing some of its educators for their dedication to leadership.

The Excellence in Education awards were announced this week.

Recipients were chosen from the three Francophone school districts.

The award recipients are:

Francophone Northeast school district

· Ginette Gallant, École François-Xavier Daigle, Chaleur Rural District (Allardville district)

· Naomie Pelletier, Garderie la Forêt des Découvertes, Bois-Joli (Balmoral district)

·Valérie Brown-Tremblay, École Léandre-LeGresley, Rivière-du-Nord (Grande-Anse district)

Francophone Northwest school district

·Brigitte Babineau, École communautaire Saint-Joseph, Northwest Rural District (Saint-Joseph district)

·Charlene Caron, Garderie Mélubulles et Zamibulles, Edmundston

·Tracy Gagnon-Ringuette, École Régionale Sainte-Anne, Vallée-des-Rivières (Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska district)

Francophone South school district

·Denis LeBlanc, École Blanche-Bourgeois, Beausoleil (Cocagne district)

·Anise Lapointe, Centre éducatif des trois chênes, Moncton

·Chantal Cormier et Mireille Allain, École Calixte-F.-Savoie, Grand-Bouctouche (Sainte-Anne-de-Kent district)

The awards recognize teachers, principals and early childhood educators for their educational leadership.

They will be presented during a ceremony in Fredericton in November.
