A West side shooting sending a person to hospital early Sunday morning.
Saint John Police officers were called to a home on Duke Street West just before 4:30 a.m. where they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.
Saint John Police say someone was found with a gunshot wound about 430 a.m. Sunday on Duke Street West. The person was taken to hospital. No word on the age or gender of the injured person. The SJPD Major Crime Unit is looking into what happened. pic.twitter.com/nywPcaGp3D

The injured person is listed in stable condition at the Regional hospital.

Police are not revealing the gender or age of the injured person at this time.
