New Brunswick’s unemployment rate rose slightly in June.
It sat at 9.3 per cent, up from nine per cent in May.
The province lost 2400 jobs.
1500 of them were full time.
Across the country, Canada added 231, 000 jobs as businesses began reopening after the pandemic lockdown, most of those were part time roles.
Canada’s unemployment rate fell to 7.8 per cent.
