Police in Truro, N.S., say the active search for a missing three-year-old boy has ended.
Dylan Ehler went missing from his grandmother’s yard in the town May 6.
Members of search crews found the boy’s boots in a brook near the Salmon River that night.
Police announced they shifted their search to a recovery mission the next day.
They now say their active ground search has been exhausted, and they’re focusing their efforts on the ongoing missing person investigation.
