Maritime Bus Reduces Services In New Brunswick

Large operating losses due to the pandemic have forced Maritime Bus to reduce services across the province.

They will no longer offer trips between Campbellton and Moncton and Fredericton and Edmundston as of January 15th.

The bus operation is also reducing its services between Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John.

Founder Mike Cassidy says the New Brunswick government recently informed them they are not able to provide direct financial assistance to “for-profit” companies.

Cassidy adds they will maintain services between New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
