Parkland Saint John Confirms Another COVID-19 Case

Shannex reported another case of COVID-19 at its Parkland Saint John campus on Tuesday evening.

In a statement, the company said the newest case involves an employee at the Tucker Hall nursing home.

The case was identified during retesting of residents and employees at the nursing home on Monday.

Shannex said it is still waiting for all of the results from the latest round of testing.

There have been 30 cases at Tucker Hall since early January involving 18 residents and 12 employees.

Four residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died, with the most recent death reported Tuesday afternoon.

All four residents lived in the Lily Court neighbourhood of the nursing home.
