UPDATE: Police Locate Alleged Hit-And-Run Vehicle

UPDATE: Saint John police say they’ve found the vehicle believed to have been involved in an early-morning hit-and-run with a cyclist.

Saint John police are looking for a vehicle involved in an alleged hit-and-run in the uptown area.

Police say a cyclist was struck by a vehicle in the area of Crown and Broad streets around 7:45 a.m. Friday.

The man riding the bicycle was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries while the vehicle involved fled the scene, they said.

Police said they are looking for a light-coloured vehicle with possible damage to the front end or passenger side.

Officers are also looking to speak with anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed anything or who has video surveillance cameras nearby.
