Overnight Parking Ban For Parts Of Saint John

Some Saint John residents who rely on on-street parking will need to find somewhere else to park their vehicles.

The city declared an overnight snow parking ban Saturday afternoon for the north, east and west areas of the city.

The ban, which will allow for snow removal operations, will begin at midnight Saturday night and continue until 7 a.m. Sunday.

In a news release, the city said any vehicles left on the street after midnight will be ticketed and/or towed.

“Motorists must make their own arrangements for off-street parking during the ban,” said the release.

The ban does not apply to the south-central peninsula area of the city.
