The Canada Summer Games are returning to New Brunswick in 2029, and organizers have started the search for a CEO.
The 2029 Canada Games Host Society announced Tuesday it had retained The Chapman Group to lead a national search for a CEO to oversee planning and delivery of the games in Moncton and Saint John.
A statement from the co-chairs of the Host Society described the opening as “a landmark opportunity for an accomplished leader to shape a national event that will unite Canadians through sport and community.”
Louis Léger and Bill MacMackin said the CEO will play a central role in building partnerships, inspiring participation, and ensuring the 2029 Canada Games reflect the best of Canadian spirit and excellence.
According to a press release, the CEO will report to an independent board of directors while providing strategic and operational leadership to bring the Host Society’s vision to life.
More information about the job is available in English and French.
