Motorists Lineup To Cross Confederation Bridge

There were long lineups to cross the Confederation Bridge into PEI last night.

Motorists were trying to get across before new isolation restriction go into effect at 8am this morning.

Photos on social media showed vehicles backed up on the highway at around 6pm.

PEI Premier Dennis King announced yesterday, anyone going to the Island will have to isolate for four days upon arrival and be tested on days two and four of that period.

This is due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
