The Premier came to town with a nice gift for the Imperial Theatre.
The Saint John landmark is in the middle of a $3 million renovation project.
Brian Gallant announced a large contribution from the province.
He says they are happy to be part of the renovations at the Imperial and the government is investing $235,000 towards the work.

Executive Director Lee Bolton says the Imperial has been around for 103 years as a vaudeville theatre, church, cinema and now as a performing arts centre.
