Three people injured in Fredericton stabbing

One person has been arrested following a stabbing in Fredericton.

Police say they were called to a south side establishment at around 1:45 am on March 4, after a serious weapons complaint.

A patron had been asked to leave the premises and two staff members and another person were stabbed.

Police arrested a suspect on scene without incident.

The three victims were taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital for treatment. Two were held overnight while one of the victims required surgery.

This incident is still under investigation.
