At least ten tenants have been displaced after a fire in a three-storey apartment building in uptown Saint John.
The fire in the building on Sewell Street was reported on Saturday morning at around 11 am.
According to the Canadian Red Cross, firefighters assisted one man out of the building, but there were no serious injuries.
Emergency lodging, meals, clothing and other support were provided for nine tenants. A tenth will be offered similar help if needed.
There’s no word on a cause yet.
