Woman pronounced dead at Harbour Passage

The cause of a woman’s death at Harbour Passage is under investigation by Saint John Police and the Coroner’s Office.

Staff Sergeant Sean Rocco says officers responded to a medical call at a public washroom at around 7pm Friday night.

Emergency responders tried to revive a 45-year-old woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A section of Harbour Passage was closed temporarily while officers were on scene. It has since reopened.

There’s no word at this point on a cause of death.
