Man facing charges in connection with break-enter and thefts in N.B.

A 36-year-old man from Moncton has been charged following a series of break, enter and thefts in Sussex Corner.

On June 5, RCMP responded to a number of complaints of break, enter and thefts, in Sussex Corner. A number of items including ATVs, firearms, ammunition, laptops, power tools, wallets and GPS devices were stolen.

Two persons of interest were identified by RCMP in connection with these incidents.

The following day, RCMP searched a vehicle which had stopped for gas in Sussex.

Officers determined the vehicle was stolen from the Moncton area and the trailer that the vehicle was towing was found to be stolen from Sussex Corner.

RCMP seized a number of items which were reported stolen from areas in Sussex, Moncton, New Maryland, Salisbury, Berwick, Lower Millstream and Boundary Creek.

A Moncton man has been charged with possession of stolen property and failing to comply with probation conditions. He remains in custody and is scheduled to return to court on June 20.

A 30-year-old woman from Moncton was also arrested but was later released.
