$4 unlimited ride bus pass is fake: Saint John Transit

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Saint John Transit has issued a warning about a fake Facebook page.

It links to a site that claims to sell an unlimited ride bus pass for $4.

“Residents are warned not to click on any links from this page or provide any personal or payment information,” the city said in a news release on Thursday.

If you see the fraudulent page, you are encouraged to report it to Facebook for removal.

Saint John Transit fares can be paid in exact change for an individual ride, by purchasing a legitimate Transcard or monthly pass at an authorized vendor or by using the SJTRides app.
