4 vehicles stolen from Saint John business: police

Police say several vehicles were stolen during back-to-back break-ins at a Saint John automobile repair shop.

Officers were first called to the business on City Road shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators allege a grey 2016 Honda CRV was stolen and later found unoccupied by police on Wright Street.

Just after midnight Wednesday night, police discovered another break-in at the same business and three missing vehicles.

One of those vehicles, a brown 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, was recovered abandoned earlier in the night by police on Tilley Avenue.

A blue 2008 Chevrolet Impala was later found on Bayside Drive and a black 2005 Ford F150 was located on Celebration Street.

No arrests have been made and the force’s Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
