Debec man is Set for Life thanks to Scratch and Win ticket

A regular visit to a store in Debec has paid off for a New Brunswick man.

Ashley Orr is now Set for Life.

He is a regular lottery player who goes out for coffee to sit and scratch to win.

One morning, he scratched and the Set for Life Symbol appeared.

Orr is a school Custodian and has opted to take the lump sum payment of $675, 000.

He plans to take some time to decide whether he’ll retire or not.

His plans for the winnings include a new tractor to clear snow from the driveway in the winter.

Orr will also take his partner Jocelyn Graham to British Columbia to visit her son.

He also wants to see the orcas and other wildlife.

The winning Set for Life ticket was purchased at the Debec General Store in Debec, N.B.

The retailer will receive a one percent seller’s prize.
