41‑year‑old woman dies after crash in Elsipogtog

A 41‑year‑old woman has died after a single‑vehicle crash in Elsipogtog.

Officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Route 116 and Big Cove Road around 4:14 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said they believe the driver lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over several times.

The woman, who was from Elsipogtog, was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.

RCMP said the other passengers were also taken to the hospital with what are believed to be non‑life‑threatening injuries.

Police added that a collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
