Brinks suing Air Canada over millions in lost gold bars

A U-S-based secure transport company is suing Air Canada over an alleged $20-million gold heist- one of the largest in Canadian history.

According to multiple reports, the shipments landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport April 17th and were allegedly stolen from a holding facility less than an hour later.

Brinks filed a Statement of Claim in Federal Court last week.

The company says that airline employees failed to properly examine and authenticate a document presented by an unidentified person.

Police have not located the goods or the culprits.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.
