Dips for N.B. fuel this week

An early Christmas gift for motorists.

Fuel prices are down this week across the board.

The maximum price for regular self serve is down 4.8 cents a litre to 159.3.

Diesel also decreased 6.3 cents to a maximum 201.0.

Furnace oil is down 7.0 cents a litre to a maximum 172.7.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments overnight.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from 153.9 to 158.1 per litre while diesel is selling for between 189.5 and 193.8 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around 158.0 per litre, diesel costs around 197.1 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for around 140.7per litre.
