Two men arrested in Saint John robberies

Two men have been arrested by Saint John Police in connection with robbery.

On Friday, police say a 36-year-old man selling a laptop online, met two men on Taylor Avenue, and he was sprayed in the face with a chemical irritant.

The two men then took the laptop and fled.

On Saturday, a 44-year-old man experienced a similar incident, this time on Flemming Court.

Police, including the K9 unit, began searching the area for suspects. Two men, 27 and 35 years old, were arrested in the basement of a nearby building.

Both victims were treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
