Dips and climbs for N.B. gas prices

Some ups, and some downs for gas prices this week.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustment overnight.

Diesel is down 5.3 cents a litre, while furnace oil dropped 4.9 per litre.

The cost of regular self-serve gasoline increased, barely though by only 0.4 cents a litre.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of nearly $1.65 per litre for regular self-serve, $2.04 per litre for diesel, and nearly $1.77 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.61 to $1.65 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.92 and $1.97 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.63 per litre, diesel costs around $1.99 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of nearly $1.44 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
