Covered Bridge president grateful for support after fire

A thank-you from the president of Covered Bridge Potato Chips company.

Ryan Albright has issued a statement four days after a fire destroyed the factory in Waterville.

Albright expressed how grateful they are that no one was hurt and to the first responders and firefighters who worked tirelessly to battle the blaze.

“In moments of crisis, communities come together. Never was this more evident than in the days following our devastating loss, which has impacted 185 employees and their families. We have been deeply moved by the outpouring of support, compassion, and solidarity shown by residents of our community, our Province, and Canadians from coast to coast.”

Albright adds the spirit of their business still shines brightly as they plan their path forward.
