Saint John police seeking info after statue damaged

Vandalism in Queen Square South is under investigation.

Police say the Samuel de Champlain statue was damaged by graffiti on Saturday.

It is believed that the damage happened as early as 6:30 a.m. The City of Saint John has since removed the graffiti.

Saint John police are asking anyone with more information about the suspects or video footage of the incident to come forward.
