$67K In Federal Funding For Port Saint John

Port Saint John is getting more than $67,000 in funding from the federal government.

The money will be used to digitize the visitor welcome experience at the port’s cruise terminals.

New digital tools, such as wayfinding screens and iPads for the welcome crew, will help visitors explore tourism options based on their preferences.

Officials say the upgrades will enhance the tourism experience and help promote the region as a world-class destination.

The money is coming from the federal government’s Tourism Relief Fund, which was launched last July.
