Man pleads guilty to lesser charge in 2022 murder

A guilty plea for a man charged with murder.

Forty-three-year-old Justin Barrow was originally charged with first-degree murder in the death of 24-year-old Max Boudreau. Multiple media reports state he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, just a week before his trial was set to begin.

Boudreau was killed in November 2022 after leaving a Dieppe nightclub. His body was found a week later on Paris Boulevard in Irishtown.

Sentencing will be held in July. Second-degree murder comes with a life sentence with no chance of parole for at least 10 years.
