A break-and-enter at an abandoned building on Garden Street in Saint John has led to an arrest.
Saint John police received reports about the incident at around 6 p.m. Monday.
A 28-year-old man was taken into custody outside the building with the help of the canine team.
It’s alleged the suspect forcefully gained access to the building using a pickaxe.
The man was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled on October 7.
