Fredericton man dead after motorcycle crash in Dumfries

A 70-year-old man from Fredericton is dead after a motorcycle crash in Dumfries.

RCMP say it was 8 p.m., Friday night on Route 102, when the driver lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle.

He died at the scene.

The roadway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
