Canada takes silver in women’s rugby sevens at the Olympics

Canada’s women’s rugby sevens team fell to New Zealand 19-12 in the gold medal game at the Paris Olympics.

It’s the highest Canada has ever finished, they’ll settle for the silver.

They had to beat Australia Tuesday morning to advance.

Canada now has six medals, two gold, two silver and two bronze at the Summer Games.

Canada finished fifth in artistic gymnastics, Simone Biles and Team USA won gold.
