19-year-old dead after crash in northern N.B.

A 19-year-old man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in northern New Brunswick.

It happened Friday evening on Highway 370 in Pont-Lafrance.

The teen was taken to hospital and later died. Police have not released his name but say he is from Haut-Rivière-du-Portage.

The driver of the truck had minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

A collision reconstructionist from the RCMP and a member of the coroner’s office are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
