Corrections staff have seized more than $940,000 worth of contraband and unauthorized items at Dorchester Penitentiary.
The Correctional Service of Canada says a package was seized on the perimeter of the medium-security unit on March 3.
Among the items in the package were methamphetamine, ecstasy, shatter/THC, tobacco, marijuana, nicotine patches and cell phones.
The police have been notified and the institution is investigating.
