$962K jackpot claimed in St. George Chase the Ace

The Chase the Ace jackpot has been claimed in St. George after nearly reaching $1 million.

Mackenzie Frost of Geary, near Fredericton, located the elusive Ace of Spades on Thursday night.

There were just five cards, giving Frost good odds of taking home the more than $962,000 jackpot.

The fundraiser, which lasted for nearly an entire year, was put on by the St. George Masonic Lodge #12.

It supported several charities and non-profits throughout southwestern New Brunswick, including:

  • Charlotte County Minor Hockey
  • Charlotte County Snow Cruisers
  • Granite Chapter #15 Order of the Eastern Star
  • St. George Curling Club
  • St. George Masonic Lodge #12
  • Walk Cause We Care
