Beresford man killed in N.B. crash

A 52-year-old Beresford man has died following a crash near Bathurst.

It happened on Rio Grande Road in Rio Grande on Thursday morning.

RCMP believe the driver lost control, and the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The man died at the scene of his injuries.

Members of the Ste-Anne Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s office attended the scene.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
