The next step towards the municipal elections has been completed.
The deadline to file your nomination papers has closed.
And the numbers are in for Charlotte County:
St. Stephen, St. George, St. Andrews, and McAdam will be having full elections.
On the Islands…
Campobello will have no election, with just enough candidates filling the positions.
Stephen Smart will be Mayor for Campobello Island.
A full election will be held for Grand Manan, with 11 candidates for 9 Councillor positions.
All three candidates for Mayor on Grand Manan have the last name “Green” or “Greene”.
