A taxi driver was robbed in the area of Paddock Street over the weekend.
Saint John Police Sgt Lori Magee says the accused had a knife and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The taxi driver was not injured.
Identification Services and Major Crime are investigating the incident.
