Pop singer Prince has died according numerous reports on Twitter and other media sources..
The news came this morning after reports of his death were made at his recording studio near Minneapolis.
Authorities were called in to respond to a medical emergency and the local sheriff’s department confirmed the death.
Prince was briefly rushed to hospital a few weeks ago in Illinois where a representative said he had the flu. Prince was 57. Friends have taken to Twitter to express their shock and sadness.
