Lynx Spotted In Downtown Fredericton Returned To Woods

The Canadian lynx found in downtown Fredericton last week has been returned to the woods after spending a week at the Atlantic Wildlife Institute.

The animal was captured by the Department of Natural Resource officers, with the help of Fredericton Police, after it was spotted near a downtown church.

The lynx was set free in the woods roughly 100 km from Fredericton.

Biologists say the area will provide the cat with abundant food sources it needs.
