McDonald’s want its staff to aspire to more than asking “Do you want fries with that?”
The company is wrapping up an April hiring blitz for 500 Guest Experience Leaders at locations across Atlantic Canada.
Human Resources Director Drew Jarrett tells us the hiring blitz is part of a bigger change in the company’s service culture where they are creating a more hospitable environment and it started when they began renovating the restaurants to make them more comfortable.
Jarrett tells us someone who does well in drive thru or production may not make a great Guest Experience Leader.
He says the Guest Experience Leaders need to have good communication skills, an extroverted personality and be able to talk to anyone.
Today is the last hiring day in Atlantic Canada for Guest Experience Leaders.
