Special Polls In Priority Neighbourhoods

Elections New Brunswick is trying something new this year to increase voter turnout in the municipal election

Richard Thorne of Elections NB says special polls are being held over the next couple of days in the priority neighbourhoods of the city.

The first poll was held at the Boys and Girls Club with another one is this afternoon from 12:30 to 3:30 at the Pulse Building on Wentworth Street.

Tomorrow morning from 9 to noon there’s voting in the old north end at the Nick Nicolle Community Centre then tomorrow afternoon from 12:30 to 3:30 at the Crescent Valley Resource Centre.

The last special poll is at the Westside PACT Building on Ludlow Street from 9 until noonhour on Thursday.
