Kelly Melanson left the Dryden area about eight years ago to begin a new life working and living in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Surrounded by summer forest fires in northwestern Ontario, Melanson never could have imagined moving to northern Alberta and witnessing something as horrific and devastating as he is now.
Today, Melanson is left waiting for the unknown and praying for any kind of good news.
Melanson took time to speak with CKDR News Director Mike Ebbeling in Edmonton, his temporary home for an unknown period of time.
