New Brunswick is on standby to help support Alberta in any way the province can according to the premier.
Brian Gallant says the devastating wildfires around Fort McMurray are impacting the whole country.
Gallant says everyone knows someone in Fort McMurray with so many work and family ties between there and here.
“We’ve offered our support to the government. Our office contacted Premier Rachel Notley and said that we are here to do whatever we can to support them,” notes Gallant.
Officials in Alberta are obviously dealing with a lot right now but Gallant says the province will provide resources including firefighters if needed.
