Big data is going to be a big deal in the years ahead and Saint John wants to become as national leader. The goal of analysing all the data we have nowadays on the internet is to make decisionmaking better by being more informed.
Three new initiatives have been launched as part of the True Growth strategy to make that happen and generate economic growth with good paying jobs.
T4G will begin training courses in Big Data in September to address the shortage of science skills. Another goal of the strategy is to establish a Data Centre of Excellence in Saint John and a Big Data Congress will be held at the Trade and Convention Centre in October.
