Shelley Rinehart’s bid to be Saint John’s mayor fell short.
The outgoing Deputy Mayor was asked if she thinks her run for the Liberals in a provincial by-election worked against her.
She tells she doesn’t think so adding when things aren’t going well in Saint John people look for an opporotunity and maybe they thought a change-up with the mayor and council would do it.
She add she doesn’t have a single regret, not one.
We asked if she would consider another political run in the future.
She says it’s hard to say adding four years is a long way away but she would not rule it out.
